Living in a hip, young part of a city's urban core generally means the tastiest and trendiest flavors are just minutes away.
The problem posed here is how much is too much? The general consensus is that when ordering an entree typically served alongside The Condiment, that accompanying first cup is always free. Doesn't matter if it's homemade or distributed, that initial milky slam session needs to be on the house, forever, period. A second helping is understandably costly to the restaurant, so any freebies after the first side are considered exceptional service.
Items for which Ranch needs to supplement without exception:
Wings
Carrots/Celery
Tendies
All others including: french fries, pizza, and Philly cheesesteak should come with that first cup pro bono, but it's not unheard of spending an extra 75c to make sure a decent meal can be had.
